Gods DO NOT have DNA

DON'T START DEBATES ABOUT WHETHER DEMIGODS HAVE ABILITIES INHERITED FROM THEIR GODLY PARENTS OR NOT, I DON'T HAVE THE SLIGHTEST IDEA OF HOW THE HELL THAT WORKS. Do you guys remember my comic of "Mt. Olympus is NOT on the Empire State"? Well, this is something similar, except with the idea stated in The Last Olympian: gods really don't have DNA.

So that you can read my ugly handwriting:
Me and Sissy: *not paying any attention*
Me: You know, the family tree of the gods is really complicated.
Sissy: ...
Me: ... What?
Sissy: WHAT are you talking about?
Me: Yeah! It's so logical! I mean, just look at all the Greek myths! It says so in Percy Jackson!
Sissy: (Again with Percy Jackson?)
Me: Like the royal families!
Sissy: O.O!
Sissy: TELL ME MORE!! <--*fan of royal families and history*
Me: It's actually very simple, my friend! In the first years of existence, the gods married each other and had kids, although some married their siblings, sometimes their cousins, etc.
Sissy: Like the Egyptians, for instance?
Me: Pretty much, yes!
Me: Like Zeus and Hera. Then they had Hephaestus, for example.
Sissy: I thought Zeus has a lot of affairs with mortal women?
Me: Oh, he did.
Sissy: !! HUH?! B-b-but...
Me: FOCUS!!
Me: The thing is, the gods don't have DNA, cuz if they did, the pairings in Percy Jackson would be gross. You know, they're like a huge family.
Sissy: You lost me in the Percy Jackson part.
Me: *writing*
Me: TA-DAA!!
